Our Story
Aquaclean Systems Of Atlanta is a family owned business. It began with a vision from Chris and Crystal Hardy to bring extraordinary aquariums, ponds, and fountains that are maintenance friendly and affordable to the Metro Atlanta area.
Chris worked for 3 years at a high end aquarium store in Buckhead in the early 1990s. At that time, multiple customers expressed interest in having the enjoyment of an aquarium, however, they did not want the hassle of the maintenance side of aquarium ownership. Due to these continued requests, Chris began doing aquarium maintenance in 1993.
Towards the end of 1994, the owners sold the high end aquarium store and Chris left to start Aquaclean. Three days after being in business, Chris received a call from one of Atlanta's (and the country's) most well-known entrepreneurs expressing an interest in Chris's services. On that first day in January 1995, Aquaclean Systems of Atlanta was born. It has grown through referrals from other affluent and consciencious customers.
Over the past 20 years, Aquaclean has expanded from only servicing to designing, building, and maintaning aquarium environments for top professionals and businesses in Atlanta and the surrounding areas.

Depending on your needs and custom designed aquarium, we can assist with consulting design work with all woodworking needs, custom cabinetry, custom plumbing, steel stands, wall cutouts, and wood surrounds.
Saltwater can be reef, decorative coral, and fish, or simply a combination of your favorites. Aquariums can be various shapes and sizes.
We can also build and design custom aquariums. We will work with you to pick out the ideal system for your needs.

Once your aquarium, pond, or fountain is installed, maintenance must occur to keep it in pristine condition. A well set up installation will have better performance and less maintenance time needed.
